Covid 19 Update 'Rule of 6'
How will the ‘Rule of 6” effect funerals
Though the number of people attending a funeral inside a place of worship has remained unchanged at 30. The new rule of six has been introduced and this means that no more than six people should gather outside the places of worship for funerals.
Please bear this in mind when looking to attend a funeral particularly during periods of inclement weather.
We will be advising each family arranging a funeral accordingly but please do not hesitate to contact any of us, your Church leaders or crematoria staff if you have any questions.
Please see the statement from Penmount Crematorium below for an example of how the rules will effect funerals taking place there.
