Aliisa Morcom
It is with a heavy heart that we write this post. Our brave and beautiful sister and auntie Alissa sadly passed away on Thursday 12th October 2023 at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske Truro. Aliisa fought a 13 year long battle of illness and pain and finally took her last breath surrounded by her family.
Words cannot describe how much we will miss her. She lit up every room with her smile and was always ready for a laugh.
We know that Aliisa touched many lives, and we are beyond devastated to have to break this news. Aliisa was well loved and we know will be missed by many.
She was a proper Cornish maid.
Thank you to everyone that has cared for her over these years with a special thanks to Newquay Health Centre, Cornwall Care and more recently, Kenwyn Care Home and Three Spires Medical Unit and of course the many wards Aliisa was cared for at Treliske Hospital with a very special mention and much love and gratitude to the GLU Ward.
Thank you to everyone who was a good friend to Aliisa . We are forever grateful for the impact you made on her life.
Her funeral service will take place at St Michael’s Church, Newquay on Monday 30th October 2023 at 11.00am. Please wear a splash of purple, Aliisa’s favourite colour.
